With the world of moto being dominated by dudes, talents such as these two fine ladies is hard to ignore!
Its a tough industry and it is dog eat dog out there in the world of racing, which makes the stories of these two even more impressive! Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for DANICA PATRICK and ASHLEY FIOLEK!
Ashley
Ashley Fiolek is a fine lass who knows how to pin it on a dirtbike. Ashley's achievements to date include 2008 AMA Motorcross womens champion, 2009 X-Games gold medalist for womens Moto-X, 2009 WMX Champion and most recently is 2011 AMA Motorcross womens champion. One hell of a list, not forgetting that Ashley is only 21!
One of Ashley's most unique characteristics in that she is infact deaf. In a sport where sound is important, Ashely has excelled and doesn't consider her condition as a disability. Ashley is a true ambassador to our industry, and we are sure she will be encourage many more girls to get muddy and smelling of 2-stroke!
Danica
Not many people would argue against Danica being a superstar in her sport, but what many people don't realise is that Danica competes against men! Motorsports at that level hasn't reached a point where women compete in their own series, so it was all or nothing for Danica. She has to muscle it up with the dudes, a daunting prospect in itself... RESPECT!
To date, Danica is the only women to win in the Indycar Series and holds the highest finish by a women at the famous Indy500 with an impressive 3rd place! Danica is also involved in Nascar. We would love to see Danica dabble in F1. She's had links to the formula, but just hasnt quiet had the opportunity yet, but who knows...anythhing can happen in the moto world!
Pretty inspirational stuff! These women really put things into perspective and make you realise that if you want something bad enough....go and get it, no matter how dire you think your situation is!
Kudos to these fine athletes!
Anyway, enough of this soppy stuff......we are off to practice our backflips!
Love always!
The MORECORE CREW!
