Formula 1 fans have become accustomed to a ritual, that could be argued, is as anticipated as the race itself...... this rutual is the "INFAMOUS Martin Brundle gridwalk"
Brundle has been around in F1 for many a year and it all started in 1984 as a racer, racing for teams like Mclaren, Jordan, Williams and Tyrrell. Speculation and rumors cropped up as Brundle was offered the role as a commentator for the 2011 that this would be the death of the grid walk , or even worse.... doing the grid walk with someone else at the helm. Thankfully, this never happened and Brundle is still fighting his nemisis Tanya Bauer for grid supremacy.
What makes Brundle's grid walk a classic watch, is his ability to do his job without any shame, even if this means shoulder barging women, children and/or Nicole Scherzinger out of his way to get the top spot for an interview!
Here at MoreCore, we frikken love the grid walk, and here are some of our favourite moments! ENJOY!
